A simple overview of how your project will work from start to finish.
Project Milestones & Timelines
Contract and Deposit Completion
We must have a signed contract and deposit before we can proceed with any of the following steps.
Project Introduction Email
Within 2-5 business days of contract and deposit completion, you will receive an email that contains important information about critical dates to keep your project on track.
In-Store Design Appointment
This appointment will take place at our showroom in South City with one of our project managers. We will review your contract in depth and make your design selections.
In-Home Measurements Appointment
Our head carpenter will come to your home (if applicable) 6-8 weeks ahead of the start date to take any measurements required for your project. Additional details such as cabinet dimensions, layout, cabinet locations, pullouts and design details will be discussed. This appointment typically takes about an hour and you will need to be present and available for discussion.
Contract and Timeline Updates
During the design process, there can be a lot of back and forth. Ultimately, our team uses the contract to know exactly what is expected for your project. We know the contract can be lengthy, but it is imperative that it is reviewed in detail and accepted whenever it is changed. If any part of the quote or contract is ever unclear, do not hesitate to ask any questions as this can prevent change fees or any issues down the line.
Project Preparation Email
Approximately 30 days before your project start date, you will receive an email with projcet preparation instructions. These instructions will give you all the necessary information about what you need to do before we arrive. Most projects require all drawers and at least the front half of cabinets to be emptied. Any other requirements for your project will be listed as well.
Project Start Email
Approximately 5-7 days before your start date, you will receive a project start email. This email will contain the schedule for when you can expect our team members to be at your house, as well as when we expect to complete your project. This email will also include information about your final payment.
Project Completion Email
One to two days before we finish your project we will send you an email with a link for and instructions regarding the final payment.
