COMMON QUESTIONS

When should backsplash be installed?

Backsplash is always installed after countertops.

This ensures proper fit and finish.

You can view our general project order of operations here.

Can I use my kitchen right away?

Our process is designed for durability, but all painted surfaces can chip with heavy use.

Using your touch-up kit as needed helps maintain the finish over time.

Will everything line up perfectly?

We aim for the best possible layout, but minor adjustments are often needed due to cabinet placement, wall variation, and tile sizing.

If your backsplash is being installed with existing cabinetry or on walls that are not perfectly level, there may be slight variations in alignment. These are normal and part of working within the conditions of the space.

Will there be dust?

Some dust is expected, especially during prep or removal of an existing backsplash.

We take steps to minimize and clean throughout the process.

What if I’m doing other work at the same time?

Backsplash timing is closely tied to countertops and cabinetry.

Coordinating these steps properly helps avoid delays or additional work.
